As technology becomes an ever increasing part of curricula, both implicitly in cases such as paper writing and explicitly in cases where subject specific technologies become a core competency needed in order to master content or earn a degree, student-specific technology resources become an important part of learning support. lynda.com sets the standard for online learning with thousands of video tutorials on hundreds of technology and soft skills topics.
The Tech Tutors provide free, one-on-one consultation to Penn State students to help them learn how to use the technologies the need for their courses and course assignments.
Faculty can schedule a Training on Demand session for their students during a class period to provide training on a technology being used in class or for a class assignment.
